NZD/USD Tests Long-Term D1 Support Zone

After a sharp decline, NZD/USD is testing a long-term support zone at 0.56119–0.55824. I'm watching whether it holds or breaks.

What I see

On the daily chart, price is testing a long-term support. NZD/USD is at 0.55946, and the last several candles are trading inside my support zone. The prior decline from the August highs was steep, and this same zone already showed up on the chart in late October 2025.

Key levels

  • D1 support: 0.56119–0.55824
  • W1 resistance: 0.58916–0.58553

My plan

For now I'm only watching how price reacts inside the support. If the zone holds and price bounces, I will watch how it behaves on the way toward the W1 resistance at 0.58553–0.58916. If a D1 candle closes below 0.55824, I will treat the support as broken, and looking for longs in this zone no longer makes sense to me. Until then I stay neutral and wait for confirmation.

This is my personal read of the chart, written before the outcome is known. It is not investment advice.
