BEHIND THE JOURNAL

About This Journal

A public, unfiltered record of every forex trade I take, kept by a trader with more than five years in the market.

Who's Behind It

The record matters more than the name.

I'm an independent forex trader with more than five years of experience. I trade manually, from technical analysis on the daily and 4-hour charts, through Dukascopy Bank and the JForex platform. Trading isn't my day job. I trade around it, which is exactly why I depend on a clear process and strict risk rules. I prefer to stay anonymous here: the point of this site is the record, not the person behind it.

Discipline

Knowing that every trade will be published keeps me honest. No moving stops after entry, no quiet exits, no hidden losers.

Learning from Mistakes

Every closed trade gets a short review, and every week a written summary of what worked, what didn't and what I'm changing next.

Showing What Trading Really Looks Like

Most trading content online shows only the winners. Here you see the full picture, including losing streaks, so newer traders can see real results instead of highlight reels.

Risk First

Risk is capped at 1% per trade and the position size always follows from the stop loss. How I trade is laid out on the Strategy page.

What You'll Find Here

Everything is published, wins and losses alike.
  • Every trade: entry, stop, target and result, exported straight from my trading platform, with a chart of each position.
  • Weekly reviews: what happened during the week, what went well and what I want to improve.
  • Chart analysis: setups I publish before the outcome is known. Each one is later marked as target hit, invalidated or expired.
  • Performance: the equity curve, win rate, drawdown and monthly results from the same trade log.
  • YouTube: short videos of my trades, chart analyses, price action tips and weekly recaps.
